10 Electric Cars for Private Hire

by | Apr 27, 2023 | PCO Driver News

It’s started, the push for all private hire vehicles to become fully electric. From the beginning of 2023, TfL has started to only license new private hire vehicles that are zero emission capable (ZEC). Uber is working on making all their vehicles electric by 2025 and Addison Lee has already upgraded their fleet of private hire vehicles to fully electric as well. No doubt many more private hire operators will join the mission to go fully electric.

Electric vehicles are the future for the Private Hire industry and you as a self-employed private hire driver should be planning to future-proof your trade by slowly working towards upgrading to an electric vehicle.
