Watch TfL SERU Videos

by | Sep 11, 2024 | TFL SERU

Preparing for the TfL SERU assessment can be daunting.  The idea of reading a 50+ page PDF document can be off-putting.

If your SERU assessment is soon, you will be pleased to know that TfL has now taken the contents of the PHV Driver Handbook and created videos that you can easily watch or listen to.

Reading is not ideal for everyone; this is why when we created our SERU online course we included videos and we’re pleased to see that TfL has taken the initiative to do the same and provide SERU videos for PHV drivers.

To prepare for your SERU assessment you can now either read the PHV driver’s handbook or watch videos and listen to the PHV driver’s handbook.  There are also many excellent SERU videos available on YouTube.  If you want to be 100%, we’d suggest taking a SERU mock test online or a SERU course like our 4-week SERU course which also includes SERU videos.

Remember, TfL gives very short notice to private hire drivers before inviting them to take their SERU assessment.  If you are a new private hire applicant, you will most likely be invited to complete all your tests on the same day.  That’s 3 tests, the topographical skills assessment, SERU assessment and Speaking & Listening test.

Here are the SERU Videos by TfL for each section of the PHV Driver’s Handbook.

Section 1: Driver Licensing

Section 2: PHV Requirements

Section 3: PHV Journeys

Section 4: Staying Safe

Section 5: Driver Behaviour

Section 6: Parking in London

Section 7: Safer Driving

Section 8: Disability

Section 9: Safeguarding

Section 10: Ridesharing
