Cancel SERU Assessment

by | Jul 12, 2023 | TFL SERU

If you need to cancel or change your SERU assessment date, then you must contact TfL as soon as possible.

How do I cancel or change SERU assessment date?

There are many reasons why you may need to change the date of your SERU assessment or cancel your test.  It is very important that you get in touch with TfL directly and give them a valid reason for the change.

To cancel or change your SERU assessment, you should either email TfL at TPHDriverassessments@tfl.gov.uk

Or call TfL on 0343 222 4444

Do not leave it to the last minute, make sure you have a valid reason and make sure you ask for a confirmation and a new SERU assessment date.

You can also contact TfL using these details if you have any special requirements, mobility issues or require any reasonable adjustments to enable you to sit the SERU assessment.  The same contact details can also be used to make adjustments to your Topographical skills assessment booking or Speaking & Listening test booking.

It is wise to also save TfL’s email and contact number, just in case you need to contact them again in the future.

Once you have re-arranged your SERU assessment, don’t forget on the test day to take your valid (which means in date) original passport to confirm your identity.  TfL does not accept photocopies.  If you don’t have a passport, then you can take your Full UK driving licence or EEA Licence.  If you don’t bring either your valid passport or driving licence, you won’t even be let into the TfL driver assessment building.

Where are the TfL driver assessment centres?

There are still 2 centres available, however there has been a change.  The Baker Street TfL test centre is no longer in use.  You have the choice of attending from the 2 below.

  1. TfL assessment centre at Pier Walk, 14 Pier Walk, London, SE10 0ES
  2. TfL assessment centre Ashfield House (West Kensington), 7 Beaumont Avenue, London, W14 9UY

Please only attend these centre’s if you have an assessment booked.  You cannot enter for any other reason.  To ask questions or to change your test dates, you need to contact TfL via email or phone.
